Charter Software has been in business since 1978 and is a privately held, unencumbered company in solid financial condition. In 1984, Charter began computerizing equipment dealers with their first version of business management software exclusively designed for equipment dealers.

The Software
Charter's Windows-based business management systems will bring strong control to all aspects of an equipment dealership's business operations. Our original Windows-based software, DealerWinTM, is installed at hundreds of locations and has thousands of users. Our newest business management system, ASPEN, meets the needs of multi and single store dealerships seeking more robust functionality. Since 1988, Charter continues to work directly with manufacturers to provide integration with their software and systems.
Our customer base includes agricultural dealers, outdoor power equipment dealers, and other types of retail.
