Charter Software has been in business since 1978 and is a privately held, unencumbered company in solid financial condition. In 1984, Charter began computerizing equipment dealers with their first version of business management software exclusively designed for equipment dealers.

Charter Software employs developers, programmers, and even support staff with management and accounting backgrounds to best serve the needs of our customers. 

The Software
Charter's Windows-based business management systems help bring strong control to all aspects of an equipment dealership's business operations. Our customer base includes agricultural, outdoor power and industrial/construction equipment dealers, and other types of retail.

Our "flagship" business management system, ASPEN, meets the needs of multiple and single store dealerships seeking more robust functionality than available in other systems. Our original Windows-based software, DealerWin, continues to be used at hundreds of locations.

Our longstanding relationships with major industry suppliers allow us works closely with them to provide integration with their software and systems. We also supply price files for over 400 OEM/Suppliers.

We are the only business system vendor endorsed by five regional equipment dealer associations in the United States and Canada.
