In Farm Equipment Magazine’s recent Dealership Minds Video Series, our customer Kern Machinery, was featured. Kern is a John Deere Dealer that has been with Charter Software since 2011 and has 10 locations! They have also recently acquired Camp Equipment, that adds another 4 locations to Kern’s responsibilities. Check out how the capabilities introduced with the move to ASPEN have brought new efficiencies to the parts and service department and has helped the team flourish in effectiveness and mobility.

It is dealerships like Kern Machinery that have put us on the map as a multi-location business management software solution for not only John Deere dealerships, but all other major brands as well. With eleven locations and over 200 users between the three businesses that run ASPEN, they are our largest customer. While there were many reasons for choosing our ASPEN product, I think one of the main reasons why they chose us is that we adapt swiftly to changes in the market, have a proven Microsoft SQL platform and implement customer requests and new features quickly and regularly.  Kern’s input on our mobile application (called A.I.M. when it was first released in 2012) was pivotal because it allowed us to envision mobile beyond bar-coding. Kern is a perfect example of a customer that helps us with ongoing product improvement, which allows us to be partners in their success.
