Charter Software Releases Interface to CNH Online Parts Catalog

DealerWin™ Now Interfaces with CNH's Online Parts Catalog

Littleton, CO – April 15, 2009 – Charter Software Inc., a leading provider of business system software for agricultural and outdoor power equipment dealers, announced the release of its interface between their Windows-based business management software, DealerWin™, and CNH Case New Holland’s CNH Online Parts Catalog (OPC). Charter’s interface runs on both the DVD and online versions of the Online Parts Catalog. Charter Software demonstrated the interface to dealers at the CNH Parts Fair in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Online Parts Catalog Interface to Charter’s business management system eliminates the need to leave and re-enter the business system when looking up parts, helping CNH-branded dealers to maximize efficiency. When logged into the OPC, dealers can see and quote their list prices, view on-hand quantity, bin location, Promo IDs and Parts Marketing Codes (PMC), and other parts data stored in DealerWin™ in the Online Parts Catalog Part information screen. More importantly, when clicking on a diagram in the OPC, the dealer’s on-hand quantity of every part shown in the diagram appears in the parts grid on the right-hand side of the screen. Then, with just a few mouse clicks, the dealer can create and transfer parts picklists from the OPC into a DealerWin™ parts invoice, work order, and/or stock order. This will enable the dealer to offer faster service and ensure that parts get to the right job.

“We are very pleased to add CNH Online Parts Catalog to our growing list of interfaces with CNH Case New Holland,” says Anne Salemo, president of Charter Software Inc. “We have been committed to providing interfaces between our software and major equipment manufacturers and suppliers since 1988, and have been working with CNH Case New Holland for the last nine years. Now, as many manufacturers’ parts ordering systems become more Internet-driven, we continue to provide product interfaces to support this trend. Online integration allows dealers to streamline their work, and save hours in looking up parts and processing orders,” she says. “It is our goal to provide powerful business tools that to help dealers reduce costs and increase their profits.”
