ASPEN interfaces with ARI’s PartSmart, Parts Manager Pro and with CODIS as well as with these major manufacturers:

  • Honda: Update your ASPEN parts prices via website downloads from Honda using the Honda Price File Update Interface.
  • John Deere We support a variety of transactions and integration to John Deere including parts orders/surplus returns, parts packing lists into receipts , parts locator, price and supersession files, CG Orders, Deere MSTs and SPGS/flat rates, quoting, product registration, warranty submission, financials and Connect2.
  • Kawasaki: Update ASPEN parts pricing through webs ite downloads from Kawasaki and to transfer ASPEN part orders to Kawasaki using the ASPEN Kawasaki Communications Interface.
  • PolarisExtract stock orders from ASPEN and transmit to Polaris, eliminating the need to re-key information using the Polaris Communications/Ordering Interface
  • Toro, Exmark, Lawnboy: Automatically file electronic product/warranty registrations through ASPEN at point of sale or directly from the Customer or Unit record and automatically qualifies dealers for vendor promotions using the EZLink Interface.
  • Stihl: PSP Product Registration Interface Submit product registrations directly to Stihl from ASPEN POS, Units Maintenance, and Customer Equipment screens, eliminating the need to register products manually through a Stihl portal.

Piedmont Tractor & Equipment has been in business 22 years, and they added the Gravely lineup last year with amazing results. They currently have a 30,000 sq ft building which allows them to stock a large inventory for their customers. Their best-selling Gravely is the ZT HD 48-inch, and their most popular attachment is the bagging system.

Kern Machinery Expands!

Kern Machinery, a long time customer of Charter Software with eight locations in California, recently completed the purchase of Hollingsworth Inc. (now called Camp Equipment),for a total of eleven locations in three states. The many locations span offerings for agricultural equipment, engine products, outdoor power equipment and the power sports industries. Kern’s expansion highlights the scalability of ASPEN and is a shining example of a mutually beneficial partnership.

ASPEN recieves official approval from AGCO!!

Charter Software’s flagship business management system, ASPEN, was certified last month on two additional interfaces with AGCO Corporation.  The first certification relates to parts ordering integration between AGCO Solutions Online and ASPEN, and the second certification relates to the reporting of Canadian taxes through Charter’s already certified AGCO+ Plus revolving credit integration.

“This comes as no surprise to the Charter Software team, as the original design and implementation for integration with parts ordering for AGCO Solutions Online was part of ASPEN during its original design,” said Kendall Edwards, lead business analyst at Charter Software.  “Acquiring certification with AGCO Solutions Online for all parts order types didn’t require changing a single stitch of code.  This code foundation has been in use for years.   After all, we’ve been working smoothly with AGCO for eons.  From day one, the ASPEN system was designed to integrate seamlessly with the top manufacturers in the world, AGCO being one of them.”

Charter Software customers in Canada also have the benefit of additional certification received for reporting the breakout of Canadian taxes as part of the AGCO Plus+ revolving credit integration. This integration allows a dealership’s customers to see the breakout of taxes on the statement they receive from AGCO.
